Career Connection (Community Living Mississauga) works with businesses and employment  candidates who have an intellectual disability in Mississauga. Candidates are  guided towards their employment goals with career planning, training and   skills development. Our experienced staff support job seekers through the  entire process, from application to on-site training. 

Career Connection also works closely with businesses that support inclusive hiring to provide  pre-screened, work-ready candidates that are invested in long term success.  Through job coaching and regular follow-up, we strive for a smooth  on-boarding process and high retention rates. The results are productive team  members that inspire others to reach their own new heights.

Our innovative, personalized supports and services, and highly-skilled, well-connected Employment Specialists will help you prepare for work, find the right job for you and provide ongoing support so you can succeed in your new role.

Epilepsy Toronto is the place where Torontonians living with epilepsy and other seizure disorders can learn more about their condition, get the help they need and be a part of a family of caring and supporting people.

Not only do we provide a range of services to people living with epilepsy and other seizure disorders, we also provide services and assistance to potential employers. Our focus is on job acquisition, retention and workplace adjustment. Through vocational and supportive counselling, we address employment standards, labour legislation, income support, insurance, driving issues and more.

We assist students and graduates to develop a career plan and access the information and assistance needed to conduct a professional job search. We also provide connections to employment and volunteer opportunities, as well as resources, to help students and graduates find part-time, full-time and summer employment.

The Good Foot Forward Employment & Training Program offers a hybrid learning opportunity for neurodivergent individuals interested in gaining employable skills and work experience. Participants will learn and engage in an inclusive, supportive environment over the course of our 9 month program.

The Employment & Training Program is free and consists of two phases to learn and build upon the knowledge, tangible skills and independence needed for job readiness.

Navigating the world of Developmental Services, the Ontario Disability Support Program, Developmental Services Ontario, the Passport individualized funding initiative, and other systems and services people with intellectual disabilities or autistic persons and their families might need can be overwhelming. At LiveWorkPlay we have very little control over how individuals and families experience the above, but we are here to help, and this includes striving for clarity about our own supports and how they are accessed.

META Resource Centres are available to the general public to use for unassisted employment-related tasks, or they can meet with you one-on-one to assess your needs and help you move you towards your employment goals.
